Have you tried leaving a message asking for them to call you back and emailing them asking for a call back? Mine was the same but did eventually call me back x

We were able to book an appointment on-line. Why not check if you can do that?

Hi failing all of the above answers. If it's convenient for you. Going into your local registry office and speak to them personally.

Same date as mine . Can you not fill out a form online and they get back to you? Definitely get it sorted as soon as possible as there will be limited times available now.

We went to our registry office in person. They were lovely and really helpful.

You really need to book registrars first, as they are more limited for times etc then venues

Our registry office doesnt allow you to pop in, wish it did. We have to ring to make the appointment to have bands read & show our paperwork & finalise date. ( as we have done the booking & paid deposit) Which i tried to do back in September. Young man answered phone & sounded like he was gonna make appointment til i said i dont have a passport then he said i'd need to speak to wedding team.... No Idea why this mattered, i am Britsh, so are my parents, ive never been abroad, have my birth cert, photo learner licence & name change deed & decree absolute... when i spoke to wedding team she said its ages till wedding ( Aug 2018) save your money for now!!?! I am not good with being assertive so just said ok, but what i wanted to do was say no i'd like your next available 1 please, & pay in full, so i know its done...

Ours is the same day. We went to give notice last week and we thought that that was when you booked the registrar. How wrong we were. We just managed to get one booked for the day and just a slight change to the time we wanted. Hope you get it sorted ASAP as I felt incredibly lucky to secure the date last week.

I was able to do ours online. I got a call back and confirmation letter emailed today. Our wedding is not TIL August 19. We can’t give notice of marriage TIL at least August next year but got my registrar all booked in. Have you checked if your local council lets you do it online?

Is there not an online form you can fill out? I did mine all over the council website.

You get a better response if you email

I emailed mine, they called back quickly. They struggle to answer phones so prefer to get messages or emails, then you get added to their call back list x

With my council we booked an appointment online and then went down to the office, you pay half the fee o line as a deposit and pay the rest once they have registered you
