A family member is making our wedding cake and we have some friends with intolerances and allergies. We are thinking of having a normal cake and buying separate little cupcakes for the people with intolerances and allergies, so they don’t miss out on wedding cake. Has anyone else been in this situation?! What have you done for them/instead?

H2B has a nut allergy and others have dairy intolerance. We are having fruit cake on the bottom, carrot cake on the next layer and as yet undecided about the top layer. All nut free and I believe dairy free. You cannot cater for everyone but can for the majority.

I know someone with a nut allergy so can't have the marzipan so going to use a double layer of icing

Our cake comes with chocolate the icing to keep it together more, we have someone who's intolerance to chocolate so we've asked that the cupcakes don't have any in so he can have something.

Our cake is going to be dairy free and our friend is making it. Depends what cake you want, but you can easily do cakes free from and just have one cake. If not people with allergies are used to not having it, but they do appreciate the extra mile. X

HI, My MIL is vegan and my FIL is celaic. So we will be having a 3 tier cake, 1 of which will be egg free and then cupcakes that will be gluten free. That way everyone will be able to enjoy
