So, I don't get on with my mother-in-law. And I know this is common but this is extreme, we have no contact and there's no solving the situation. She simply has nothing nice to say about me or me marrying her son although the whole family agrees I've been nothing but supportive of her. What do I do on the wedding day? Do I just treat her like a normal guest or do I ruin my mood all day having to pretend I care that shes there?
Hi I have a similar situation but my FMIL has decided not to attend :)
I would be really nice to her so people see she's nasty
I would just be civil, with all the other people there on the day you won’t spend a lot of t8me with her anyway
Treat her how you’d like to be treated.
That way nothing negative can come back on you because of her attitude.
