I'm in a sticky situation, we are currently trying to sort a date for our wedding but the only problem is my future brother in-law got married the day after a couple of years ago. We want to get married on a Friday as more people will attend, we now feel they may be a bit taken aback as their wedding anniversary is the next day. Do you think we should change date as the date doesn't mean anything to us, or do you think they will understand? TIA x

It's not their anniversary so it shouldn't matter; get married when YOU want to get married x

Hi go for the date you want it's not on their Anniversary so it shouldn't matter to them :)

honestly, they shouldn't care if it was on their anniversary. Sadly there are millions of couples and only 365 days in a year, every wedding will fall on someone's special event or anniversary.

They should understand. It’s not like it is on their anniversary x

Do whatever is best for you! It isn't their anniversary so they shouldn't have an issue with it! X

We’ve chosen a specific date (my late grandads Birthday) which also happens to be one of my best friends birthday.
I spoke to her and she was fine with it, speak to your future brother in law.
I’m sure he won’t have a problem x x

Do it when you want. Maybe just speak to them about it and explain that the Friday was the best day, I'm sure they will understand
