Check out you tube. I have the stuff to do ours but wasn't sure how best to do them. There are several ways.

Same month as me too! I have been thinking about it also. There are some fab videos on youtube. Are you thinking fresh flowers or artificial? DIY Mommy has tutorials for making cabbage roses and peonies, they are beaut!

It’s really easy to do - I made them for my sisters wedding a few years ago. Worked out really cheap and if I say so myself they looked fab x

I get married October 2019 too and I've made all my own flowers and button holes. It's surprisingly easy, I just sort of went with what I liked and they turned out well. Super cheap too :) I got most of the stuff from Hobby craft and I bought my bouquet from eBay for £8 and just added more stuff to it.

I was thinking the same but decided I'll get someone local to do it. I was thinking the flowers need to be fresh and on the day of your wedding there isn't much time. Maybe you could get someone to help out. You want to enjoy your day.

Silk flowers are a good option and cheap enough to get on eBay. You can keep moving them on their wire until your happy with the placement.
I did my own. Just something simple.

EBay is great for all the cheap products. I got some things from my local arts n crafts store too. Be sure to practice there's some good videos on YouTube too. Pinterest is great for ideas

My mother in law has made ours using artificial flowers and brooches off amazon - using YouTube to get the technique right - they look amazing

My tip. If you are going for real is ask the florist to do it! The added stress of putting things together for such a tiny saving isn’t really worth it. Get quotes and then cost up considering the time it will take you x

I have 70 button holes for sale for £50 left over from my wedding - all have pins on the back. They are white roses with a pink feather.

My mum made all my bouquets & button holes for my wedding 2 weeks ago with fake autumnal flowers & brooches. The range, hobbycraft & ebay are the best! One tip I would suggets is getting good wire cutters to trim the stems as they can be tricky with just normal scissors!

Super easy to do yourself, lots of practice is the key. Just keep doing it and taking it apart and re-doing, you’ll find it gets easier. However, I am a florist myself and if you find an honest, reliable florist, you won’t pay over the odds and it’s stress free!

Get good quality if you're getting artificial

My mum did my sisters for her last October it was very time consuming she started at 10am the day before after we spent the morning going to get all the flowers and picking the leaves she finished at just before midnight that night she went on a one day florist course near by before which was a massive help see if there's anything like that local there normally really cheap to go on you just have to take your own flowers or see if there is a family member/bridesmaid that's willing to do it the day before while you get other bits done, not sure where your getting married but we did ask the decorating of our venue it's amazing how quick the day before goes I spent the best part of all day doing my venue there's no way I would have had time to do flowers x

My girlfriends made them for me & did a brilliant job , huge success !! Def recommend a practice beforehand on 1 bouquet & 1 buttonhole ......
To keep it cheap I ordered all the fresh flowers from www.trianglenursery.co.uk
....they arrived on the Thursday & pop straight away into deep buckets of water with flower food for a good drink ..... We made the bouquets for bridesmaids on the Thursday ..... Buttonholes & brides bouquet on the Friday = used pint glasses & vases to keep them in water before the Saturday .....
In all the bouquets I made sure each one had a white pipe cleaner soaked in water hidden inside so the plants could drink .....had read that on a website somewhere ..... Warm wishes for you day !
Total for bouquets , buttonholes & reception tables came to £150 ....

I’ve been making my own paper flowers. Best to keep it simple if you are new to it but there’s so much on the internet to find. Pinterest is great for ideas. Don’t start too early, but practice! And if you are using paper find somewhere to store them out of the light!

I'm doing my own and loving it. shop around at a good local wholesalers (we have one called inspirations) and price up some pre made bouquets; there much cheaper and you can add all sorts of embellishments to your own specific taste and theme xxx

Had loads of pitcher jugs filled with either baby's breath & white roses or white gerbas , or white baby breath & purple orchids with peacock feathers for reception tables decorations ..... Plus 1 large glass vase filled with water with jewels at the bottom with white orchids & floating candle on top .....

I've made mine and they look great, even if I do say so myself xx don't listen to critics and have YOUR flowers YOUR way xx oh and Amazon is great, I did mine, maid of honour, 2 bridesmaid and flower girl for under £30, always check reviews though. I managed to do mine with no practice but I would suggest practice practice practice xx
