Hi everyone. I'll be 69 when I marry my h2b. I'm just under 5ft and am currently size 18-20. Any suggestions on what type of dress I should wear please. I'm not looking to wear white. Thanks in advance

Hi it depends if you want something vintage style or something more modern, 50's style is lovely :)

A high low hem would look pretty with you being 5ft it will make you look taller. X

Have a look on Vivienne of Holloway, they have some stunning vintage dresses that would suit you x

I'd try some 50's tea length dresses, maybe with a petticoat? Polka dots and petticoats have loads, I got my bridesmaids dresses from there.

I would go with whatever makes you feel Good,it's not always about what you should wear it's about getting the bridal feeling from a dress

I agree with 1950's dresses as so Amazingly flattering .....

Also consider whether going for a skirt & top as that is what I ended up choosing so I could wear it again in the future with different coloured tops & bottoms ....& different coloured petticoats change the skirt too ....

I was looking on wed2b website for dresses in the prom dress area and they do a lovely tea length dress, and Congress in a variety of colors, so could try looking there.

Try on all styles and go for what you love and get that feeling from I am 5ft 2 and thought I cannot not get a ball gown because it would make me look short but it was completely the opposite so go with open mind and just try on everything you can
