Im very lucky and got a close friend to do my make up and a family member for my hair. It might be worth popping into stores that have makeup counters to see 1. If they can do it and 2. how much they would charge? And have a look on fb and join some wedding sites, i see a few people a day posting about what they offer. Good luck xx

Mac do wedding makeup for £95. I'm lucky because I'm getting married abroad it's part of my wedding package. I just have to pay for my maids which is £95 for hair and makeup

I've had a few quotes and they have varied dramatically. So definitely look around and look at their work too.

Mine is gonna be £90 for hair and make up with a trial and she doing my two daughters under 10 for free. Bridesmaid £45 for hair and make up on the day

Meanwhile hair quoted me £85 for trial & £85 for hair on the day = couldn't afford both so emailed photo & had hair done just on the day & it all worked out fine !! Phew ! ....

We paid £40 each on the day for hair and make-up for her to come to our hotel xx

I paid £20 for my hair and £45 for my makeup for both the trial and on the day. Luckily they were just down the road from my house

Make up trial for me was £40, on the day with lashes was £75. One bridesmaid, mother and mother in law on the day was £135 on the day. Hair trial was £35 for me and my £50 deposit also was my hair for the day. £190 for three bridesmaids, mother and mother in law on the day. MUA was in Edinburgh and hair dresser travelled to Edinburgh from just outside Glasgow. X

315 for me and 3 bridesmaids this includes trials and on the day hair and make up

My makeup trial is £50 make up on the day is £70 my hair trial is £20 but she's going to do it when she colours my hair hence why it's cheaper and my hair on the day is £60

When i was bridesmaid in april it was 50 hair and 35 make up.

My venue have their own make up artists as it's a hotel and spa. They were charging me £85 for my trial and my makeup on the day. Then £30 each for any additional people such as bridesmaids x

I used a local hairdressers to style my hair, £22.00 and I had my makeup done by a mobile one for their special evening event package for £30.00. Bargain, both lasted all day and night

Prices vary dramatically and I had quotes between £600 and £850 for hair, makeup and trials for myself and my 3 bridesmaids. If you need to keep to a lower budget (I was shocked by the cost to be honest), it might be worth approaching a local college where they run hair and beauty courses. :)

My sister did my make up and my grandparents neighbour did my hair, money saving and I didn't want just random strangers around me on the morning of my wedding...but thats just me lol. Have you not got any friend's or family friends that could do it? Xxx

My trial was £30 my hair and makeup on the say was £45 and my bridesmaids hair was £25 each. They did there own makeup. Xx

This is not a sales pitch but to be helpful, my partner does it for £100 for bride hair and £100 for makeup and everyone else for £50, for our wedding she is getting both hair and make up for £620 for bride, 5 bridesmaids and mother of the bride but this is very much mates rates

Mine is £380 for me and 3 bridesmaids at my house

I'm paying £150 for my hair and makeup which includes a trial, my bridesmaids are £50 each for hair and makeup
