I would advise anyone taking out wedding insurance to check the small print, a friend had to claim on hers with Debenhams recently as her wedding venue went into liquidation a few weeks before her wedding and much to her surprise they will only pay out 50p in the £1 so only half the cost of what had been paid out and refused to pay at all until the liquidation has been finalised which can take months! Not much use at all in these circumstances.

We went with Debenhams and unfortunately had to make a claim on ours as we had to postpone our wedding. We has no problems getting the money back think it took about 3 weeks to sort it. Definitely worth getting x

Debenhams are best *but* make sure you read the details on each package, they do like bronze, silver and gold (or did when I was sorting mine) and each cover up to a different amount and some cover more circumstances than others. So make sure to pick the cover that's right for you xx

We had debenhams cover, the best price for what we needed, we needed marquee cover too plus the added bonus of a gift voucher which bought my son's outfit! Their customer reviews were also very good x

Sorry to jump on your question, but is the insurance a one off payment or is that figure monthly?

I went with voyage as it covered everything I wanted and had good levels of cover for gifts which will hopefully be received
