A piece of advice, wedding dresses tend to be quiet heavy and difficult to dance in. So as someone who had this trouble I wholly recommend changing into something less formal for the evening reception. You'll be able to enjoy yourself more and if you time it right you get the chance to freshen up and generally feel better for the whole evening. X

I chose a lighter dress because of wanting to wear it all day. Do and choose what's best for you.

I love my dress so much I have threatened to sleep in it.

I bought a cheap £35 one from China just in case but I didn’t need it. I do have a friend who really wishes she had had one to change into - for £35 it was worth having the option. X

I stayed in mine. It was a strapless dress but I wore a lace jacket over the top. I took it off towards the end of the night to make it look a little different xx
