What year is everyone getting married? And when did you start booking...

Hi we got engaged Christmas Day getting married 18th August 2018, we started booking in April. So far we have only booked the registrar, venue and photographer :)

We got engaged on 14th July 2017 and wedding is on 14th July 2018. We have so far booked the car and catering. Venue planned for back garden but may change as we are looking at another one on Monday.

Oh, and I have my dress.

It is always good to book ahead as things get booked up really quickly. It will also give you a good idea of budget x

2020 and we've found our venue and booking it next month, easier to pay off then xx

2020 im getting married, i have gotten small items, and 2019 i be getting dress, flowers, groom's suit.

2019 and have booked venue and photographer but that’s it so far. Starting to do a few more bits now.

I'm getting married June 25th 2022 and already we have planned it all out its just the case of paying for it all sadly we can't book our venue yet as it only takes bookings 2 years in advance xx

2 weeks time so 2017 .. didn't even book my table runners until a couple of weeks ago .. booked the venue a year before.. styles and your own taste do change.. I'd hold off until 2 years prior personally

We have everything planned and have had the go ahead from venue and parish just booking them now but leave lots of time to pay things off which means we can have exactly what we want 🙂 x

We get married tomorrow and we got engaged in Feb 2016 and started booking straight away. The only problem we had was the dress designer went into liquidation but everyone said we were leaving it late to book everything.

BOOK NOW!!! I'm getting married in Oct 2019 and so far every supplier has been available and it's just so stress free!

We booked venue in Feb 2017 for June 2019 (was August but changed date) and were now getting all deposits paid etc want it all booked by Feb 2018 so all we have to do then is pay stuff off xx

November the 19th.. THIS November! We started booking a fortnight ago, when we spontaneously bought a house in Portugal, while visiting friends and we wanted to be married before immigrating.

I think it's a bit early to be booking for 2022. If you do go ahead make sure you have wedding insurance in case things go bust.

I'm getting married on 11/08/18 booked venue July 2016 also have centre pieces table decs chair covers etc, have photographer booked, cake booked, photobooth booked, not long had flowers sorted registrar is booked, make up and hair booked and a singer booked for the beginning of wedding, I would start booking as soon as people open their diaries for the year your getting married, i just found it easier getting booked asap as a lot of people get booked years in advance

2018 just started booking stuff last week x

We got engaged on 30th March 2016 and got married last Saturday 30th September 2017. Didn’t start booking stuff until 6months before but we had a church wedding and a marquee on the farm.

We booked our wedding a year ago today and are getting married nov 2018 so just a little over two years.. becareful not to book things too soon though as some suppliers go out of business etc. Before you book anything I recommend taking out wedding insurance. It’s a must. Our wedding venue have just announced they are closing a month after our wedding date - massive shock but owners are going Into retirement. But never know what will happen with different companies!

We got engaged July 14th 2016 and get married July 14th 2018. Everything is booked. Just a waiting game now

If you book things early then get wedding insurance as it then protects you against suppliers going out of business.

We got engaged March 2013 and got married March 2016. We struggled booking much other than venue and band, and wedding dresses before the two year mark as some people don’t have books open that far. X

6 months to go for us!!!! All booked just paying it off now. We booked our registry office date a year before the wedding date and our reception venue three months ago. Dresses, rings and grooms suit are bought, we are catering ourselves, so I have a long list for food we will buy!

We're getting married in 2020 and have a few bits booked now, then more when we get the insurance next year. I'm an eager beaver so I'm consently planning and lining things up!! Xx

You could look around for quotes and just get rough ideas of prices. I think abit too soon to book anything yet though! Companies do go bust..... often.
