Anyone have or havong a piper? If so how long for and what was/is the price? Looking for rough idea on what is a resonable price to be paying Thanks
im having a piper but get it through my Venue, however i met a lovely piper that Dalziel Park had at their open day and i think he was there for arrival, piping the bride down the aisle, piping out, piping the top table in and the bride and groom. if i remember correctly he was about £180 maybe. Think his name was Douglas.
Drums and roses are 190 for a piper 290 for a piper and drummer
We had a piper at our wedding. Was with us for a few hours and we paid £150. The kilted piper from Birkenhead, even brought his niece with him who also played so got two for the price one! Really brought my day together x
I'd recommend Spud the Piper (based in the Highlands but will travel) or Connor Mcblane (Paul Mcblane) who is in the Ayrshire area. Both have facebook pages and are brilliant! Xxx
About £100.
We got married in Gretna Green and paid £80 for ours. He piped the guests in, piped for my arrival, piped me down the aisle and piped us both out again. It was lovely would always recommend a piper (just don't get so emotional that he has to stop while you compose yourself!)
I'm having a piper at my wedding, mine is free as it's my grandad who doing it, he been in a band in Ireland for decades
Can anyone recommend a piper I'm the North East area? Thanks
