How much time are you taking off work before the big day?

Just the day before. I work until 4pm so can get in any beauty appts for nails, facials etc afterwork on an afternoon so should be up to speed without taking extra time off. Want to spend the day before doing the flowers and organising the venue so that I can spend the actual wedding day just getting ready.

I will probably have the week off. I'm getting married on a Friday and am planning on going for a spa day with my Mum and sister for a pamper session

That sounds lovely. I am going to take a week off before mine. We have people arriving from South Africa so I will be a taxi driver as well as getting myself pampered.

About a week I think to make sure everything is sorted and I have time for a pamper x

I'm just having the Thursday and Friday off for my Saturday wedding

I've booked two weeks after the wedding off ... Completely forgot about booking time off before!! I've managed to get the Thursday and Friday off before my wedding on the Saturday. I'm hoping that will be enough, I do shift work so will hopefully have a bit of time around work to get any last minute bits done x

2 weeks before and 2 weeks after as getting married on Saturday go on honeymoon on Sunday night / Monday morning

About 10 to 14 days. I'm lucky to have a lot of leave every year and a flexible employer. Plus I'm getting married in January when no one else wants to take leave so it's not like I'm clashing with anyone else.
