I've been looking for shoes and can not decide on the perfect height of the heel. Whats the average size everyone goes for?

Mine are 4.7 I am in heels all the time though and I am short so these make me the same height as my h2b.

I used a standard heel during day and swapped to kitten heels for evening

It completely depends on how comfortable you feel in heels, you don’t want to feel uncomfortable or wobbly down the aisle! Mine are a three inch heel, I usually wear taller but my other half is under 6ft and I didn’t want to be taller than him

I wore a wee 2 inch heel. It's personal preference. Wear whatever you are comfortable in. X

It's what you prefer... For me, I don't like the look of small heels, but I can't walk in high ones lol.. My dress was measured on me wearing 2 and a half inch heels. I tried on 4 inch but a wedding is a long day and I know I wouldn't last. My dress touches the ground so no one will see my shoes anyway. I'm just trying to find a pretty pair with small heels

I'm usually one for massive heels but wearing them for over 12 hours is a no go.
If you look at Ruby Shoo they do really nice kinda quirky shoes with nice heels x

I wire 4 inch heels. It depends what you're comfortable and used to wearing. I find my posture is better when in heels and I just feel more elegant.

Im wearing pretty ballet pumps as my other half is only an inch taller than me.

I plan on wearing flats!! But thats not to say I wouldn't like to wear heels.... I've got flat feet & knee issues, so i can't handle heels for much more than an hour before feeling horrendous pain!

I've had this issue ... I can't/don't wear heels if I can help it .. more of a trainers/pumps girl, I wanted something pretty for the day and I've just found a pair of open toed heels with a 1.5 inch heel .. that are diamanté Pink Paradox are the make ... but I was tempted to go for the converse my bridesmaids are wearing 🙂 x

My part is shorter than me so heels are not even an option. Gone for sparkly jelly sandals instead x

I'm wearing heals..they won't be a high as my normal killer heals but still going for high.i decided on a wedge heal rather then stiletto as it will give me more support for the whole day.i have thought about flats for the evening but will need a button 2pull my dress up so undecided as yet!i may get some jazzed up trainers 2match my little bridesmaids!

I wore 4.5 inch and lasted most of the day until my husbands friend was wearing them dancing 🤣

Am wearing 6" heels so I'm the same height as my 6' 4" partner. I practically live in heels anyways so I'll be fine.

I'm trying to find some pretty flat shoes as I'm 6ft and my partner is 5'11 and I HATE being taller than him 🤣

I'm almost 6ft so I'm likely going to be wearing flats or small heels

Thank you everyone, I use to wear high heels all the time but since having my little girl I'm always wearing flats or trainers... Might look into a medium sized heel see if I can manage that before the big day comes xxx

I only wear heels normally on a night out so my wedding is gonna be hard to choose cuz I'm more of a flat girl

Wear what is comfy for you. You will be on your feet for hours.

I wore glittery pumps with my new surname on the back... I did buy nice heels but decided on the day if no one can see them I might as well be comfy

I had irregular choice heels. Think they were 3.5 inches although I only lasted in them for around 2 hours. This is strange for me as I can normally wear heels without issues. These really hurt me after a bit. As you can see my groom changed them to my Converse for me. Xx

Mine were 3.5 inches which i wore from the ceremony up until after the first dance so around 6 hours then I changed in to flats for the evening, couldn’t see the shoes under the dress anyway but was much more comfortable running around and dancing in flats

As my h2b is 6'4" and I am only 5'5" I have 5.5" heels.

No idea what height mine are. I liked them, tried them on and stood next to the other half to make sure I wasn't taller and as I wasn't I bought them. Choose what you're happy in xx

3 inches. 3.5 max I think. I'm trying my dress on this Saturday and it goes to the floor.
