How early have people send save the date cards out. Also how have people addressed them and worded them? We are not having children in the day but does this need to be mentioned on the save the date or the formal invite?

Hi 8-6 months before :)

I'd send them as soon as you know the date, that's what we're doing to give people plenty of notice. I'd also state in the save the date cards about no children so people can organise childcare x

I sent save the dates around 14 months before the days and will send invites in the new year.. I get married next September. You don't need to say anything about children until the invites :)

Hi I’ve sent mine out as I’m getting married in Cyprus 2019. I think the earlier the better to make sure who you want there has enough time xxx

Sent mine out 1 year in advance, and addressed only to the person invited. All it says is we are getting married. No need to word it save that for the invite unless you are really worried about it.
