So looking at save the dates cards. How early shall I send them out? Also how have people worded them or addressed them as we will be having no children to our day apart from the evening? Thanks!

My wedding is in August 2019 so we are sending ours with xmas cards this year so people know not to book holidays for that day, maybe look for poems which kindly say no children at the day? X

I sent my save the dates 1 year before the wedding date, I also didn't word them as it isn't an invite just a save the date, so I addressed it only to the person I wanted to save the date.

Save the dates should be kept simple so just put the names of the people you want. The no children part should be kept for the invites. Or people with kids might ask when you hand the save the dates out so you can just let them know.
