Can you have a religious ceremony at a venue that has a civil ceremony license or do you have to get married within a church?
We have to get married in the church. We looked at having the ceremony at the venue but the priest said they could only do the ceremony in a church
Only church can do religious ceremony. But what my auntie did do was have a ceremony at the registry office and then straight to church for a mini blessing hope that helps :)
No - a venue can't hold a civil ceremony licence if it has a religious tie - and vice versa, if you have a civil ceremony you can't have anything religious (including music) at the ceremony.
