Has anyone had the cups from a push up bra sewn into their dress? Did it help to lift them? Or not worth bothering? Any other recommendations to give a boost...

I had them sewn in. I'm very flat chested after breastfeeding two kids. It certainly helped me look fuller. You can always try them on before having them stitched into the dress and see how you feel.

Sorry but if you feel your bust isnt right un the dresd you have the wrong dress. You cant change your bust for a dress ask your shop for advice on styles that suit less busted women. I have the opppsite would love smaller but rather large up top so everyome sees no matter what its not me but nothing i can do about it.

My aunt was my seamstress, I was set on wearing a bra and had bought one that cost a fortune to wear under my dress. When I went downto have it fitted she told me to take the bra off and lift my boobs while she pinned me in, after 3 kids I was a bit apprehensive but she worked her magic and my boobs looked and felt free and amazing!! So speak to your seamstress first x

Sewing into mine made my dress point out and altered the dress to look a fembot dress (Madonna boobs!) So I've had scour the internet for a clear backed bra as stick on bras where a no go.
Get the seamstress to pin the cups in and then try it on. You'll only get a good opinion this way x

I'm lucky I don't need a bra for mine, my dress already has cups in it, tried it with my bra on at first and then took my bra off. Looked so much better.

My seamstress had her own cups which she sewed into my dress and it made such a big difference :-)
I bought a bra but didn't end up using it.. was a waste of money!

I had mine sewn in and I’m so glad I did. It helped me to fill out my dress so it fit properly.

I am getting cups stitched into my wedding dress because my dress has a very low back and I have small boobs so I want some shape and to fill my dress out a bit haha.....
