My parents are split up...and my mum has openly said that she'd be unhappy my dad giving me away. Now I agree with her in terms deserving. However my dad has now asked if he can give me away. Now I haven't decided at all..I haven't thought about it. But would like suggestions please! I've been very independent and so thought about carrying that in and walking myself.
Walk yourself down. I'm sure your Dad so understand. Maybe ask him to sign the register instead. I am very close with my Dad and Step Dad. It will hurt my dad's feelings too much is he had to share the aisle moment. I am therefore giving my step dad other important roles
If you don't want him to then you walking yourself down is a perfectly good enough answer to give your Dad :)
