Does anybody have any advice on negotiating with your wedding venue? We've just received our first quote from our chosen venue but haven't signed anything yet. The price quoted is for a set package for a tipi venue hire style of wedding. But I wondered if people had tips on pushing back on initial quote? Wedding isn't until Sept 2019 and we will have less guests than the venue maximum. Thanks
I think venues are happy to offer upgrades rather than negotiating on price from what I've experienced anyway. But I will be interested to see the other comments :)
Hi I don't know if you can negotiate when it is a set package but just ask :)
I negotiated on my package as our numbers were lower than what the initial package included. We got some extras like additional buffet for our evening guests, ceremony fee, centrepieces and an upgrade to the suite in the hotel on the night of our wedding 😊 some venues are much more flexible than others but I asked every venue I went to x
