question people who done small cake with cupcakes, how many each cupcakes did u budget for, is it one each is it two each thanks
I'd do one each. Some people won't take one, some may take a few extra
We just had cupcakes. got 120 which was enough for 1 each. Got them from sainsburys. Preordered the flavours we wanted and so much cheaper than from a cake maker.
I did one each plus about 20 spares as we had loads of kids there.
I've done one each and then ordered some more for the evening when other guests arrive so 70 for the day and another 50 for the evening and a small top tier to cut for pictures
I'd do one each otherwise I think would be too expensive
would i need to state one cupcake per guest on the table??
Hi Erica I would order /make 10 more cakes than guests :)
so 60 cupcakes be enough??
I did enough for one each with a few extra in case any were dropped xx
We did one each but most people didn't eat them so we gave them to the staff at the venue
We're doing one each and having a 6inch tier on top that we can cut if we need to 🙂
We're inviting 70 day guests so we've ordered 100 cupcakes then a small cake for us to cut. If you order more then you'll just have extra to take home for yourself As long as there is enough for one each though you should be fine x
We did a vintage cafe after the service ....we received free cakes from villagers & from a buy nothing Facebook page donations ...... We had no idea that 322 friends would come to wedding church service but somehow most of them got a slice ??!!!!! ......
😮😂😎😮😂😎😮
We got tesco easy entertaining cupcakes and ordered 108 36x3 and that was more than enough. We had about 85 guests.
I would order one each plus a few extras don't forget to include you and the groom in the count !
One per person is enough! You'll probably still have loads left. Not everyone has one. Especially if you have desserts included in both your day food and evening x
I made cup cakes for two sets of friends' weddings. Attendance about 80-90, made 100 cupcakes each time, and there were tons left both times.
I'm having 3/4 tiers and cupcakes but the cupcakes will be for the kids.
I got 50 guess I'm ordering 65
I had about 120 cupcakes for about 100 people. I definitely only needed about 80 as i came home with loads!! Xxx
We're having a small main cake and have order 40 cupcakes to go alongside. We have roughly 70-80 guests most of which like fruit cake which is what the main cake is. The cupcakes are for people like myself who can't stand fruit cake
We've got more than one cupcake each (our centre pieces are cupcake stands) plus a 5 tier cake that will be cut and given out on the day. If they don't eat them on the day, they might want to take some home for the next day x
We had a 6 inch cutting cake plus cupcakes. The cutting cake was around 20 serving and we had 96 cupcakes plus 6 gluten free for 90 guests. We had quite a few left over so could've ordered less (probably 70-75 cupcakes) so that with the fruit cake we had enough for one each, rather than one cupcake each plus the cutting cake.
Luckily I'd bought some white cupcake boxes from Home bargains, which the venue used to put the left over ones in at the end of the night and we gave them to family and friends to take home the next day.
We'd also asked our cake maker before hand for one of each flavour to be put in a special treat box and kept to one side for us to take on our minimoon the following day.
One per guest would be plenty
