Hi. Is anyone planning on making their own confetti? Been looking online and seen there are a few different ways to do it, has anyone tried before? Just wondered what way works best.

Some venues are really strict about what you can and can't use for confetti. I think I'd make mine if it worked out a lot cheaper than buying it though.
Our venue allows biodegradable confetti so I have been making some. I found the best was was a short time in the oven on a baking tray. Then I put it in bowls to cool and have boxed it with some of those silica sachets you get in shoes and handbags (I knew I was keeping them for some reason). I found hydrangeas to be good ... cut off the 'little' flowers and the petals are the perfect size. It is taking me all my time not to go out at night and chop the heads off my neighbour's roses but I have so far managed to resist!
