Hi there I'm just wondering about bridal shoes. Has anyone worn lace boots that come just below the knee under a fitted dress? I think I'd like to go for wow and shock factor under the traditional lace dress. Looking at coloured shoes but quite like the idea of boots! Would it look odd when I lift my dress up?

I love the idea! I keep looking at boots. But wondering if by night I'll just want them off.

Cowboy boots look good. Google cowboy boots with wedding dresses and look at the images.

I'm wearing purple wedges that match my bridesmaids. That's under a traditional ivory dress

It will look different when you lift your dress up that's why I went for blue shoes on my wedding as I know coloured shoes was the in thing at the time but it would of been different for people to see I like it when things are done differently to normal weddings gives it a more personal touch

I'm hoping to wear cowboy boots under my dress. As long as your comfortable wear whatever you want. I think boots under a dress would look lovely.

I had shoes on for the service and changed into trainers for the evening. So you can wear what you want it is after all your day.

I had lace up ankle boot shoe. So comfy, easy to walk in coz there was no way they would come off or feel lose when walking.
Go for it if that's what you want to wear.

I wore lace and leather ankle boots under my dress. They were really comfy. I actually got them from ebay.com as I couldn't find anything suitable here.

I'm getting married in my Dm's, I really don't care if others think it will look odd. I only ever wear them normally so I'm not going to be uncomfortable and in pain for the most important day of my life so far. xXx

Personally I live in my converse or vans so will be trying to find a pair of wedding converse but they will be red. My dress will be ivory. I want to be comfortable on the most important day of my life, regardless of what everyone else thinks or says xx

http://www.irregularchoice.com/womens/bridal/pearly-girly-d.html These are mine. But it's your day. So there's nothing wrong with straying away from the traditional especially if that's what your more comfortable in.

I would go with whatever you feel most comfy in. Its a long day on your feet etc. I had a cheap pair of white trainers under my to the floor dress. Cost £15, I was comfy enough not to have sore feet at the end of the night. Guests thought it was hilarious when I showed them.

I recently went to a wedding reception where the bride had Doc Martin's under her beautiful white wedding dress. No-one batted an eyelid because it reflected her personality
