Is anyone making their own cake? I was thinking about making my own cup cakes/muffins, but my fmi says i shouldnt as I'll be too stressed. Just wondered if anyone else is planning or has made their own wedding cake?

My Gran is making my cake. I am tempted to make some cupcakes myself but tbh baking relaxes me
Baking relaxes me too, unless something goes wrong haha. I was thinking of doing them the day before and have my bridesmaids round to help decorate them?
Yes I'm making my wedding cake but so I'm not stressed I'm making a three tier fruitcake as I can make it months in advanced
That's a good idea Alison :) think I might have to ask my fmi to help me bake them so I don't get too stressed.
I'm very lucky my h2bs cousin makes cakes, so our wedding present is a four tier to my own design 😊
My h2b and my little cousin are going to make our cake together
