I've just seen someone selling a speech betting card and thought it would a bit of fun, but h2b doesn't seem so impressed. Any thoughts? TIA

It was the first time I heard of it tbh. I just thought people could bet on who's speech will make people get or laugh etc.
It could be fun but depends on your guests, I know it wouldn't be appropriate for mine as I think it would pit pressure on the speakers and none of mine will be very confident to start with!
I think it depends on your family. All my family love betting so would probably enjoy this. We took bets on how long the speeches last at my cousins wedding, whoever had the closet time got all the money everyone had betted. It might be a way to make everyone a bit more interest in the speeches.
