Probably been asked before, but do you send save the dates to evening...

Save the dates are generally for the day guests. Evening guests don't necessarily need as much notice

I sent just wedding invites & reception card to close family. And friends etc I sent evening invites to them.

Some people do 'save the evening' cards for evening guests. Just so there isn't any confusion over if they are invited to the full thing or not xx

Just day guests as saving the date means the whole day or date as its called. If you want to do save the evening ones too go for it but probably unnecessary as save the dates are there to allow people to book annual leave which isn't normally required for the average person to attend an evening do.

I sent 'save the date' to day guests and 'save the evening' to evening guests.
