My partner and I are getting married in 2018. We have asked 4 kids to be part of the wedding party (all girls). 3 of them love dresses and the other is a real tomboy and won't wear a dress. Would it be okay to put them in a trouser suit or would it look silly?

I would let her wear a trouser suit.. Gotta be comfortable with what they wear.. no 2 of my 6 brides maids are wearing the same style of dress or colour, Its my day but my girls are very individual..

Definitely pk to be in a trouser suit. You can incorporate the same colours such as the shirt or maybe tie/bowtie.

My 6yr old is iffy about dresses - I bribed her with new Doc Marten's ;)

It's your wedding and you can do what you want :-) I personally think she'd look pretty cool in a trouser suit, nothing wrong with that at all!

I'd say happy children happier day last thing you want to worry about is a child that's not comfortable or happy if anything like mine they can make a lot of noise or worse throw grump and not do anything you ask lol hope your day goes well x

My niece has told me she won't wear a dress for ours so she is getting a trouser suit instead x

If you want them to wear dresses you could ask her to just wear the dress for the ceremony and main pictures and then change into something else but if you're not bothered then let her be happy in a smart suit. She needs to feel comfortable otherwise you'll be able to tell o the photos
