I planned to, brought a cream lace dress to get changed but then I didn't, I was so comfy in my wedding dress that you only get to wear the once that I didn't bother. All the best x

I didn't but wish I had, I know you only wear it once and before the wedding I swore I'd never want to take it off but it was really uncomfortable and unbelievably hot!! I spent most of the evening fed up of being in it I hated it by the end of the evening so glad I never have to wear it again x

I'm not going to as I want to wear my wedding dress as long as I can. I might even sleep in it.

God no, I'm not spending all that money to wear half a day, it's bad enough you only get to wear it once! Xx

Have you considered having an overskirt of sorts? So maybe you can wear a full length for the day then take the top skirt of for a shorter or slinkier underneath? There seems to be more of those about recently? X

Just sticking to the one. I'm going for a tea length dress so it'll be easier for me to dance around in and stuff, so having a second dress hasn't even crossed my mind. 😊

I didn't! I think you are spending a lot of money on a dress, it should be warn all day. I also think of you dress is 'the one' then you should feel comfortable enough in it to be warn all day. Xx

I took another dress just incase but didn't change in the end, I was determined to get all the use out of my wedding dress as possible as I knew it would spend the rest of its life after the wedding on a hanger at home!! X

My wedding dress cost a lot of money and I only get to wear for that day so wouldn't dream of changing outfit for the evening.

We had quite a big change! My partner and I learnt a secret Jive (I already dance) which wouldn't have worked in my big dress so I bought a second hand one the same from eBay and had it altered so that halfway through the song when the mash-up changed I whipped off my big skirt to reveal a jive skirt with the same top (Bucks Fizz style) . I did get changed back into the original dress though as that was my 'wedding' dress and I wanted to still feel like a princess!

I couldn't decide on a single dress so I'm having the full length lace with train for the ceremony and tea length silk and chiffon for reception. I get wanting your money's worth all day though, I got mine in charity shops so don't feel I'm underusing

Took a change just in case and ended up using it at about 11.30 as my bridesmaids had gone and I couldn't lace myself up after a late night bathroom visit. Maybe get something and keep tabs on so you can return it if you don't use it.
