Hi, just wondered what people did for their something old? We don't have any family heirlooms/jewellery or anything like that. Thanks!
What about a comfort blanket/teddy you had as a kid x
I'm wearing old shoes (ok, they're not ancient but have been worn often and I have had them for years)
What about earrings? They can be subtle, pretty and sentimentle
My uncle brought brought me a white gold cross and chain for my 18th birthday so that's my something old.
I used my engagement ring as my something old, as I'd had it a few years :) x
I'm gonna use my flower girl shoes from my cousins wedding a few years ago. I'll hopefully be using them within the next 5 years so they are a bit old
My something old will be my mother she's walking me down the aisle
Wear your lucky pants lol
My grandma gave me a sixpence that was nearly 60 years old
I wore earrings that my husband bought me a few years ago
My bridesmaid got me this, which I attached to my garter
I had an old photograph of my nan that I made into a bouquet charm as my something old and it meant she was with me as I walked down the aisle x
My old was my wedding ring, my nan left it to me
My dress is vintage & my six pence is 1911.. Which just happens to be same year my Nan was born...
I had my mum's garter - Which is slowly being passed through the family. It also had a blue ribbon so was my something blue :)
I was unsure on something old or borrowed for a while and went through my mums and some of my nannies jewellery but nothing was quite right. Then out of no where my 'mother in law to be' offered for me to borrow her mothers ring. It was perfect and was old and borrowed!
I had my mums garter. It was my something old, borrowed and blue. xXx
My mum gave me away so she was my something old!
Am borrowers my grans wedding ring for day and sewing it into my dress
I had 2. One was my grans pearl handbag and 1 was my pearl earrings and necklace I'd got for my 21st

I want to wear my late aunt Mays opal ring but it's a bit big and I've heard not to wear any other rings? :/
Im having an old sixpence sewn intk my dress
My veil is my grans from the late 50's, so it's also my something borrowed
What about accessories you wore on your first date?
The first set of earrings he bought me 8years earlier x
I wore the pearls my grandad (who passed away shortly before our wedding) gave to my grandma for their wedding in the 1950s. It was a lovely touch to be able to have my ' something old' be something so precious and sentimental to my family :-)
I was in the same situation with no family heirlooms...so I wore old knickers
my something old was the husband being the 'old man' now :) x
I have a six pence of my Granny's as something old,new dress, blue garter but struggling for something borrowed
I have a penny made in the year my dad was born that I am going to glue to the bottom of my shoe - the penny is old and has links to my dad which I love and it's also tradition to have a penny in the brides shoe on her wedding day :) or glued to the sole in my case -im saying that counts :p
My mum has given me her garter so it's my something old and borrowed oh and it also has blue ribbon so my something blue. Just need new
My late granny's wedding ring, am wearing it on my other hand. It will be a day after my grandas 20th death anniversary, 5 days after her 19th and 2 weeks before what would have been their 74th wedding anniversary, it's also doing for my something borrowed as my mum has it so am just having it for the day x
Sixpence :)
I had my nan's necklace wrapped around my boquet, she passed away over 20 years ago x
My something old is me lol 40 in 2 months x
