I'll be spending around £250 on fresh flowers and sundries but I'm doing them myself. That will be for my bouquet, 2 bridesmaids, 3 flower girls, 10 buttonholes, top table arrangement and centrepieces plus some decorations for the ceremony room. I previously did the flowers for my brother's wedding. I recommend taking a look at the Triangle Nursery website.

I read this, I am a florist and yes huge difference in price, but as a florist point of view you have to take into account time of year, flower choice, type of bouquets. A hand tied is much cheaper than a teardrop which takes a long time to make. Flower prices to the florist hike at particular times of year and not just whats going on in this country but others too as flowers can come from all over the world. Just a florist point of view but interesting for me to see all the different prices. Also what area you live in because you will definitely pay more in London as an example. Hope it helps.

Theartificialflowershop.co.uk bought all mine on there (silk and just over £100) and my bouquet holders (box of four dry) for £17 on Amazon... hot glue gun £15 on Amazon... I'm making my bouquet (one to keep and one to throw on the day) two bridesmaid bouquets and my flower girls (my daughter and niece) are going to have a flower in their hair and their basket full of fake petals.. It's not that I'm not big on flowers it's just that all the flowers I wanted I wouldn't have been able to get for when the wedding is. Besides be artificial flowers aside from obviously not smelling like anything are stunning!! And superb quality!! And best of all my bridesmaids and myself can keep ours. As a major bonus we saved a load of money too)
