Could name tables after fish he has caught or places he has been fishing, could get a cake topper of a fishing couple Google some decorations or favours that could resemble fishing xx

Your centre pieces could be fish bowls with actual goldfish in. X

Ooh thats fun! You could theme each table around different fishing spots? So like a beach/costal spot and a lake or a river. Doesnt necessarily have to be about the fish but the places and makes the tables different.

I've just seen a fishing themed wedding in an article, they had big vases with gold fish in as center pieces, cake topper that said hook line and sinker, a big sign that said two less fish in the sea with their names underneath and used things like wellies filled with flowers as decorations, vintage bait box to hold favours ect it all looked really nice together. They had an old looking fishing rod as a prop for photos and that looked brilliant, some of the photos were hilarious! Maybe have a look on pinterest too, they always have great ideas on there. Good luck x

£1 shop sell cocktail bowls that look like mini fish bowls as centre pieces.
Fishcake as a starter or a fish dish for main meal?
Names of fish as table names. Could you use a landing net to put people's cards in instead of a post box.

A family member did this, and had 2 small gold fish in a bowl on their top table

Please don't use live fish! It's horribly cruel to put them in jars, drunk guests will mis-treat them (add alcohol to their water, pull them out etc), it's just so unnecessary

We've got a fishing cake topper from etsy!

Perhaps you could display happy memories, or missing loved ones like this?

You could have like a mini fishing rod propped up as a centrepiece, with a different fish hanging from it (picture not a real one) then people could find their table by the fish? You could have a photobooth type thing with fishing bits as props, or those fisherman hats and a backdrop?

Fortune telling fish as favours? A fishing gnome as your table centrepieces? Use a tackle box as your card box. Name your tables after types of fish or great fishing lakes / rivers. Eat salmon for your meal. A little fishing rod in your bouquet. Enjoy! Have a fabulous wedding day xx

Instead of a guest book have a fishing net with cutout shapes of fishes that the guests can write messages on and tie to the net

Thats a very different idea. You could build a mood board from Pinterest where you can start to create the type of feel you are looking for. If you need any help Makingmemorieswithtlc.co.uk we can take your ideas and make them a reality allowing you to enjoy making those all important memories.

We're doing the same! My fiancé is a fly fisherman. Groomsmen wearing flies instead of flowers, table names are river names etc. Just subtle ways of incorporating it!

We have a load of fishbowls we're selling from our wedding centrepieces if you're interested?
Got about 20 available at £1.50 a piece (negotiable). Can post/be collected.

We have a bird theme and our table names are different birds with silhouettes of the different birds. Maybe something similar?

Table names are a good place to start, a photo booth with waders, fishing hats and other attire. Four button holes the men could have an elaborate fly idea?

Our friends had a fishing wedding cake. A square ckae with a "river" on it and models of them in a boat (and their dog digging a hole in the bank).

Sheila Fleet are doing nice Salmon cuff links too right now

You can get little wind up fish to go in fish bowls if you wanted that. A chalk board with the words 'My bride is quite the catch.' A hook a duck style game with fish for your guests. 'Gone fishing' on the back of your wedding car. Fishing rod archway to walk through after/before your ceremony. A photo booth set that is fishing themed.
