My fiancé and I really like the idea of a twilight wedding where the ceremony at around 4pm is followed by the evening reception, were struggling to find anywhere that accommodates this in Leicestershire/Derbyshire. Any ideas?
Sounds lovely. Hope.you can do.it. have you googled it
I'm doing this. I've booked a full bar venue for my reception. And register office for the ceremony. plus it's a weekday. Try looking at places that aren't traditional wedding venues . We found a beautiful old lock keepers house! X
Holiday inn do twilight weddings x
We had the same issues have completely changed our venue and wedding time as it was so difficult to arrange without paying ££££ extra in room hire costs etc
We got married at "The Woodlands" at Hothorpe.. (pretty close to Leicestershire) You're the only ones with access to the venue during your wedding so can't see an issue with the later wedding time?! - Happy to Send more details, just drop me a PM
We have just booked for this at whirlowbrook hall in Sheffield. However, it is on the outskirts x
I'm getting married about 4pm and going straight on to the reception straight after, try looking at hotels mainly where they can do the 2in1. Good luck! X
Have you tried Mackeney Hall Hotel?
Morley Hayes might be good to look at?
Is 4pm a twilight wedding? Our registrar said 90% of the weddings she does are 3 or 4pm
Lea green, morley hayes, blackbrook house, alison house, knockerdown cottages all do them
Have you tried alfreton hall in Derbyshire it's lovely and only has your wedding and you get 8 bedrooms in with price. That's where we having ours next may.
