Hi gals... Me and my h2b are getting married in June 2019. We originally planned to wait until after the wedding to start a family but we have just found out we are pregnant!! I'm thrilled and over the moon of course, but I'm just slightly worried as I already have my dress and fear I won't be able to fit into it anymore. Has anyone else been in a similar situation? Thanks

Well if your pregnant now then I'm guessing your due about April/May then you will have over a year to get back to the size you need to be I'm sure if you put your mind to it then you will fit into the dress xx

I had a baby when I was nearly 24, after 6 months of breastfeeding, I weighed less than I did at 19! You have a year after having the baby to sort yourself out too. You may find that your priorities shift a bit when little one arrives too. Good Luck xxx

Hi! Congratulations :) Our second child was born 6 months before we got married. I'd bought a dress before we found out, but thankfully due to it having a corset back, I was still able to wear it. Everyone is different, some ping back into shape right away, some (like me) carry the weight for a little while longer. What style of dress do you have? x

I found the weight came off really easily with my first child especially as I was breast feeding - the second appears to be where my weight issue started! Congratulations!

We've had a similar thing happen to us. But luckily I've not ordered my dress yet I'm leaving it until the January 2019.

Hi, I'm pregnant due next March and getting married in the August! I'm waiting to get fitted a couple months after birth. I found that the weight just fell off after my first, hopefully the same with the next baby. I'm sure you will be fine as you've got plenty of time after the baby to get Back to normal weight x

Just eat carefully while pregnant, you don't need to eat for 2. I had GD and had to eat really carefully while pregnant, weighed less the week after my caesarean than I did before I conceived!

Your body will never be the same after a baby but you can stay the same size. First of all, eat sensibly, indulge bad cravings with much moderation and do walking/swimming/light exercise as often as you can. Preferably every day, even if you're in pain (providing a doctor says its safe to do so). I found walking through pain, helped it to get better in the end. (Obviously depends on the source of pain.) Be sensible and take care of your body, and you'll be fine. I was back in prepregnancy jeans by 3weeks.

I'm pregnant and getting married Feb 19. I lost all my baby weight with my first pregnancy within 9 months. You have plenty of time to enjoy your bundle of joy and more than enough time to lose weight for your wedding. Plus what a great incentive to keep you on track to lose weight. You'll do great!

I bought my dress in July 2016 in a sample sale for our Feb 2017 wedding, found out in August 2016 I was pregnant! Still managed to walk down the aisle in my dress and changed into a floatier one for the evening!
