Hi! I'm wondering whether anyone else has ordered their veil from the internet? When did you order your veil? I'm worried about the colour not matching with my dress. I have found a veil but I don't want to order it too early in case the colour isn't right as the ivory of the veil looks a lot creamier than the ivory of the dress. I have ordered my dress but it won't be ready until January. What have other people done? Thank you for any replies.

I would order samples of the veil material and wait till your dress is in so you can compare.

I took a punt and bought a 99p veil from eBay (china) in ivory about 8 months before the wedding thinking if it was awful I had time to get another but it was perfect!

Unless your veil is really thick you shouldn't actually notice that much of a difference between the dress and the veil. And if you have the time- just wait :)

I never ordered mine online, I got mine ordered from the bridal shop. My veil was the very last thing I ordered, which I done it 4 weeks before the wedding. My veil was ivory as I had an ivory dress and it looked perfect together x

I got mine from Etsy! £30 rather than £200 that the bridal shop wanted. I figured for £30 I couldn't go wrong so ordered it (it came from Canada) and then took it to a dress fitting (would still have had time to change it if needed) x

I ordered one in ivory and when it arrived it was white, I complained and they insisted it was ivory. Had to get another one in the end

I am opening an online wedding accessories site soon and you have made an excellent point. I will now to getting samples for my future clients - I have so far ordered white veils plain and adorned,do people like ivory as well?

I got mine about 8months before the wedding from eBay (by ossa) it was about £24 is a massive 91" 2 teir veil. Took it to my dress fitting an the dress fitter couldn't believe the quality for the price, she said it was as good as veils well over £100 she had seen before. As other people said if you have the correct quality tulle which is light the colour will blend well. Do be careful of thicker tulle.

I ordered mine and had it custom made by a lady on etsy called 'Alisa Brides', she has a fb page too. I absolutely loved it and would definitely recommend. I guess there is always a worry about the quality and colour match but I was really pleased with mine ️

Hey there, does your dress need alterations? If it does, you could see if the seamstress could sew on a little bit of the veil. I have satin edging on the veil a little 'creamier' on the veil but my dress needs altered xx

I ordered mine online and when it came it had two little samples with it of the different colours available lighter or darker than the one I'd ordered in case I found the colour wasn't right. But it was perfect! I would try to get some samples if you're not sure! Xx
