Is anyone having candycarts or anything similar? thinking of making my own
We have a lot of kids coming so we are having a candy cart and a chocolate fountain if you can make one I would go for it My fiancé made a candy cart for my sisters wedding it didn't cost a lot for the wood and we just painted it Ourselfs, saves money just if you have the time.
I'm having a candy cart and also getting personalised bags so it will be my favour gift too x
Where are you?! I might be able to help!!
My little Sis had one and it went down a treat. Bought the sweets in bulk online and raided charity shops for odd jars (epic Alice in Wonderland themed wedding!) It went down a treat and didn't break the bank :-)
My partners dad made ours which we used for our engagement party, going to use it at our wedding too just change the material and letters to match the theme
We had one and it went down a treat
Hi I am having a Candy cart :)
I just had a sweet table. I got so many sweets for the cost of hiring a sweet cart. Of i hired it averaged 100grams of sweets per person so i just spent that amount on sweets and jars myself and averaged 600grams per person
Mine comes in the price of the hotel Ive booked x
I'm doing my own sweet table. Got the jars from home bargains and wilkinsons and got the scoops and tongs from Amazon x
my mum made our sweet trolley she made it from a old tea trolley, painted it up etc everyone commented saying how lovely it was and most guest didnt believe me it came out of a skip lol we then just brought sweets from studio,£1 shops etc this was ours x
Our venue provided jars and tongs, we just brought the sweets and bags.
I'm considering a prossecco cart
my sister made her own sweet table for her wedding, with large jars full of sweets, everybody loved it! I'm thinking of hireing an ice-cream van for mine :p
We did sweets for favours for the kids so avoided it as we had over 50 kids and bouncy castles so was worried about them being sick so we didn't we did have chocolate pizza from our wood fired pizza guy which went down a treat. But definitely a nice touch if you can control the kids we just had too many to watch. My cousin just had a table at hers and it was lovely easy to do yourself xx
We are thinking of getting a sweet ferris wheel. Looked amazing at the open day

were thinking about a sweet table as it might cut costs a lot most seem to be charging 150-200quid! where do you get jars big enough to hold the sweets does anyone know and sweets? :)
Bridget Mcleod love the idea!! haha xx
We are doing our own sweet table, bought lots of different jars and dishes, and striped sweet bags, metal scoops, matchibg ribbon on some of the jars and a "sweet poem" sign on a mini easel. Will get sweets from Lidl/Asda etc and fill up the day before.
Someone I know is going to make me my own version on this. I'm gonna put crisps (for these who done like sweets), mini bags a haribo, snack packs of popcorn and some chocolate items in it. Then there's something for everyone you can buy these out of pound shop looking at spending £80 so much cheaper than a sweet cart xx
Yes, ours comes included in our package with our DJ for paying up front.
