We have a lot of kids coming so we are having a candy cart and a chocolate fountain if you can make one I would go for it My fiancé made a candy cart for my sisters wedding it didn't cost a lot for the wood and we just painted it Ourselfs, saves money just if you have the time.

My little Sis had one and it went down a treat. Bought the sweets in bulk online and raided charity shops for odd jars (epic Alice in Wonderland themed wedding!) It went down a treat and didn't break the bank :-)

I just had a sweet table. I got so many sweets for the cost of hiring a sweet cart. Of i hired it averaged 100grams of sweets per person so i just spent that amount on sweets and jars myself and averaged 600grams per person

We did sweets for favours for the kids so avoided it as we had over 50 kids and bouncy castles so was worried about them being sick so we didn't we did have chocolate pizza from our wood fired pizza guy which went down a treat. But definitely a nice touch if you can control the kids we just had too many to watch. My cousin just had a table at hers and it was lovely easy to do yourself xx

We are doing our own sweet table, bought lots of different jars and dishes, and striped sweet bags, metal scoops, matchibg ribbon on some of the jars and a "sweet poem" sign on a mini easel. Will get sweets from Lidl/Asda etc and fill up the day before.

Someone I know is going to make me my own version on this. I'm gonna put crisps (for these who done like sweets), mini bags a haribo, snack packs of popcorn and some chocolate items in it. Then there's something for everyone you can buy these out of pound shop looking at spending £80 so much cheaper than a sweet cart xx
