Country vs. City Weddings: Manchester

Manchester is a beautiful place filled with wedding venues inside the city centre and in the surrounding areas. If you’re unsure whether to get married slap bang in the middle of town or slightly further afield, we’ve selected three stunning city weddings and three on Manchester’s periphery so you can decide for yourself!

City Wedding Venue #1: King Street Town House

This beautiful venue only hosts a limited number of weddings a year and provides exclusive use! They’re very flexible on what you like whether that’s a banquet, barbecue or afternoon tea. City Wedding Venue #3: The Monastery

This wedding venue is unlike any other! It’s really unique with breathtaking architecture and a phenomenal wedding backdrop. This venue was transformed into what it is today by the The Monastery of St Francis & Gorton Trust. The building was in a state of dereliction on the World’s 100 Most Endangered Sites List next to the Taj Mahal, but it’s now an award-winning wedding venue with so much to offer a prospective couple.
