We don’t really need to tell you why football fans will feel at home in Manchester. Whether you’re more of a City fan or a United fan, the Etihad and Old Trafford are both wonderful places to visit. If you’re sports buffs in general, Manchester held the Commonwealth Games which means it features world-class facilities now like the Aquatics Centre, Athletics Arena and Velodrome.

Manchester can impressively boast a phenomenal collection of talent including Oasis, The Smiths and Joy Division. For music lovers, Manchester is a dream come true. It’s a highlight on many musicians’ tours so huge performers like Prince, Madonna, Take That and many more have all played here.
