Designed and structured to provide the highest level of comfort necessary for your wedding day, it will fit you perfectly; with the integral corset providing shape and support, as well as a ‘figure to die for.’ All Village Bride ‘Celebrity Style’ wedding dresses are hand crafted in our Marple Bridge studio by our professional team, with prices starting from £1,800, which includes the design service and professional fitting.

The Village Bride ‘Couture Collection’, is a small exclusive range of wedding dress designs, only available at Village Bride. Each year owner Julie Mitchelmore creates beautiful new wedding dresses to add to the collection. These beautiful wedding dresses are also hand crafted at Village Bride’s Marple Bridge studio by our professional team, and, like our ‘Celebrity Style’ gowns, are designed and structured to provide the highest level of comfort necessary for your wedding day. An integral corset in each gown provides the shape and support, as well as that all important ‘figure to die for.’ Village Bride ‘Couture Collection’ gowns are available ‘to order’, and include full made-to-measure service and professional fitting, with gown prices starting from £1,400.

Village Bride is a wedding dress shop which offers a complete bridal wear service, so also stocks a selection of ‘off the peg’ wedding dresses and ‘occasion’ wear: the Village Bride ‘Designer Collection.’ This is a selection of beautiful ‘’off-the-peg’’ designer wedding dresses from several leading UK based wedding dress designers and manufacturers, including, ‘award winning’ Benjamin Roberts, and White Rose. These have been selected by owner Julie Mitchelmore to compliment her own ‘Couture Collection’, and to suit a variety of styles of wedding, and a range of budgets, with prices starting from £600. In addition to the Wedding Gowns, there is a small range of occasion wear suitable both as Bridesmaid’s Dresses and as School Prom dresses.

Having your bridal gown created by Julie Mitchelmore at Village Bride will be one of the most memorable experiences of your life. From your initial consultation, when Julie will ask you about your ideas for your wedding dress, and the theme or style of your wedding, before trying on bridal gowns of different shapes and styles, to show you which would flatter you the most, and then choosing from a selection of samples of silks, satins, and laces from all over the world, you will be carefully guided through the whole process. On through your various fittings, you will be carefully helped to realise your dream dress.

Village Bride stocks a full range of bridal accessories including: shoes, finely worked and hand beaded veils, handcrafted headdresses and fascinators, and a fabulous collection of over 70 different tiaras, with many exclusive designs, in silver, gold, pearl, and Swarovski crystal, with jewellery to match. The full range includes many items exclusive to Village Bride. Veils, tiaras, headdresses, and jewellery can be individually designed and hand crafted to match your wedding dress.

Village Bride is in Marple Bridge, an attractive stone built village on the borders of Stockport, South Manchester, North Cheshire and the High Peak district of Derbyshire, but easily accessible, being just five miles from the motorway. We are easy to find, as we are located on the main street in the village, which is just five miles along the A626 from junction 27 of the M60.
