Congratulations to this month's winner, Emma Simpson and husband to be, Ben Lewis. Our UKbride is getting really excited, as her wedding is less than two weeks away. Emma and Ben are certainly a theatrical couple! The pair, from Sheffield, met at university and are both in the entertainment industry working as a lighting designer and production manager respectively. It's little surprise, then, that Ben's proposal was on stage in front of small but highly amused audience of close friends.
"He had arranged a red carpet, spotlight and a bottle of champagne on stage!" says Emma. "I thought it was an elaborate prank but I cried when he proposed, he'd spent a month planning it!"
The couple will marry in less than two weeks at Sheffield's Kenwood Hall - a beautiful Georgian wedding venue. The Hall will be great for the couple's wedding photographs, which is just as well because the couple's prize is a £1,000 wedding album from London's MRP Weddings.
