MYSTERY MAGIC started back in 1997 has and experiment side line that has grown. Pete Turner’s fascination in magic has grown to a point where Mystery Magic became a full time business in 2003. As a Close up magician, Pete has travelled all four corners of the UK performing at all events and bazaar venues.
He was proud to work on the HMS Belfast in London, lots of Stately Homes, performing close up magic on Corporate Hospitality Train Journeys and on Mini Cruises.
In 2007 Pete had a lucky break where he was invited to work on cruise Liners all over the world. Through this, he found there is a market for lectures on a very unusual topic..MIND GAMES. Mystery Magic expanded to do lectures for many clubs, group and organisations around the North West as an After Dinner Speaker.
Often, Pete’s clients have asked him whether Mystery Magic sell Magic Books. With high demand of requests, Pete’s handy Graphic Design Skills he develop as an apprentice in his younger days came into action and he complied a Box Set of Five Books containing over 400 Optical illusions. The books have been very popular especially around the Christmas time where people are looking for unusual gifts.
In 2020, Mystery Magic hit a blow where Covid more or less destroyed his business. A full diary of bookings was wiped out overnight and it was empty for almost two years.
The good News, Mystery Magic has re-booted with a new brand, new lectures and even the books has had a massive make-over.
Pete has now rebranded as The Foxx, now wearing black, and ditching the red jacket. Pete also has a fresh brand of magic that is more mystifying.
