The Royal Burnham Yacht club, located on the river Crouch, is a picturesque and idyllic setting for any wedding ceremony or reception.

The varied spaces of the clubhouse, ranging from the balconies and courtyard to the wood-panelled, traditional library, can be tailored for large celebrations as well as intimate events. The south facing bar, Sun Lounge and outside decks bask in evening sun and boast panoramic views of the river. We encourage you to incorporate the glow of the river as much as possible to make your day special; utilise our pontoon and arrive by boat from nearby Creaksea, or just exploit the backdrop for photographs.

Guests are welcomed and relaxed in the traditional bar, or in the summer months, the courtyard, with reception drinks of your choice. The courtyard also serves as a photogenic and romantic space for speeches, entertainment and a first dance.

The elegant dining room can cater for 150 guests and can be tailored to your wedding’s themes and décor. The wedding breakfast is also tailored to your specifications.
