With stunning backdrops of Salisbury Cathedral and the beautiful River Avon, The Medieval Hall is truly a dream venue for any couple. This 13th Century Old Deanery is located right at the heart of the city making it a sought-after location for weddings.
The Medieval Hall is a perfect space for the ceremony. High ceilings supported by large oak beams, original stone floor and scattered with candle light, the atmosphere is all you could ask for to make your day magical.
We can assist as wedding coordinators throughout the planning and organisation, acting as liaisons between caterers, flower arrangers, musicians, car hire companies. Let us do the heavy lifting so you may enjoy the most special time of your lives.
Included in the service, we encourage a rehearsal, usually the day before, which invariably helps to relax the nerves of those with a role to play during the Ceremony. And we will also be with you on the day itself to ensure everything runs smoothly.
After the ceremony, should you wish to stay with us for the reception, we would organise a venue for a short interim drinks gathering for you and your guests while we transform The Hall into a beautiful space for a sit down wedding breakfast.

EXCELLENT SERVICE
The owners of the venue were very helpful from the beginning. We decided to get married after the lifting of the lockdown restrictions which started in March 2021. James and his father had the amazing idea of having live streaming for our families in Greece who were unable to travel and it worked perfectly. The location next to Salisbury Cathedral was ideal for photographs. The price was very reasonable. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to get married in Salisbury.
