An elegant Georgian manor house licensed for civil ceremonies, it is set in 3 acres of landscaped and beautifully kept gardens, surrounded by over 100 acres of rolling park and woodland. Exclusively yours for your special day.
The Bride / Groom has two lovely rooms at their disposal from 9.30am – Midnight to prepare for the wedding and then for relaxing afterwards.
Our couples can tie the knot in any one of five areas: The Grand Hall (most popular), The Club Room and Blue room (smaller, more intimate weddings), The Orangery and the charming Wedding Gazebo, situated with our beautiful rose garden as its backdrop.
The reception and evening party centre around the Grand Hall with its attendant reception rooms including the Club Room (dance floor), Bar and Drawing Room. This opens to the covered Terrace and Terrace Bar when weather permits.
The same Management Team works with the Bridal Party from the viewing stage to the end of the wedding day with complete continuity and seamless and multi-award winning delivery of the Perfect Day!
The Lawn has a formal link with a 4* hotel very nearby where the wedding guests benefit from some great deals and benefits.

Nothing less than perfect
Thank you ever so much for the perfect wedding. From the day we viewed The Lawn to the second we left, you and your staff were absolutely second to none. We were made to feel welcome and very much at ease with no-one being rushed or pressured throughout the day. The food was absolutely superb and was complimented by every single one of our guests.
The service from yourself and all of your staff was magnificent. Never once was anything too much or too little and the attention to detail just was perfect.

A highly recommended venue
My now husband and I fell in love with The Lawn as soon as we arrived at our venue viewing - we knew it was where we wanted to marry. It's in a lovely location, a quiet pocket of Rochford and it has a beautiful gazebo for an outdoor wedding. We were so fortunate with the weather and had the most perfect August day. The service and food was impeccable, The Lawn worked so hard in the leadup and on the day to make sure everything went smoothly. A particular shout out to David especially, who dealt with my many questions with such professionalism and willingness.
Also thanks to the maintenance manager Andy, who assisted my bridal party with some odd jobs with the set up and was such a friendly and calming presence (exactly what we needed on the wedding morning!). Our wedding day could not have gone more smoothly and we have no regrets at all with having chosen The Lawn. Even now, we get comments from so many friends and family saying what a beautiful location it was and how much there was to see and explore. A highly recommended venue! Thank you David and team.

Fantastic venue, our wedding was amazing and thankfully the weather was with us if a little too warm.

Wedding we had always imagined
We got married here on the 21.07.2022. We had a lot of bumps in the road to reaching a wedding and The Lawn supported us every step of the way. The evening was perfect and everyone in the team was accommodating and supportive (even when it came to food, decorations, guests, changing our ideas etc). We could not have wished for a better venue and a more beautiful wedding. Thanks so much for all your support and helping us make MR&MRS and a wedding we had always imagined.
