Information For Langshott Manor
More a private house than a hotel, Langshott Manor has an illustrious history as a place to celebrate. Intimately sized, it is perfect for exclusive use and is a show-shopping choice for a wedding.
Catering for up to 70 guests on a exclusive use basis, we offer whole house or half house takeovers, along with our intimate wedding option, perfect for couples wishing to tie the knot without delay.
We are 'tudor with a twist'. All of our Exclusive Use weddings are bespoke and tailored to your exact wishes.
Our fairy tale pretty manor in Surrey is perfect for a destination wedding. Friends & family can assemble from afar (even abroad with Gatwick in easy reach), and to make the most of your time with your nearest and dearest, we recommend starting the festivities a day early with a rehearsal dinner. We like to think of these as relaxed affairs with family & friends; buckets of beers, BBQs in the summer months and hearty tray bakes in the winter, with the fires lit and a full-bodied red being poured. Most importantly, plenty of time to catch up, check your check-lists and really begin to relax and enjoy proceedings.
Whether you stay the night before or arrive on the day, we’ll make sure there is space in one of our drawing rooms for the bridal party to set up camp, pop a few corks and get ready for the day ahead. We’d suggest a light elevenses of finger sandwiches to settle tummies, and a few mimosas to steady nerves. Our largest room The Mulberry can play host to your wedding ceremony, or alternatively in the summer months you may wish to use our pretty pavilion on the lawn, which is also licensed. For Church services, we have several in easy reach with the nearest just 2 miles away. The gardens are yours for an elegant cocktail & canapé reception in the summer months. In the winter, warming beef & Yorkshire pudding canapés by the fire are a delight, served alongside our house-spiced Glühwein by sparkling candlelight.
Then we are on the the serious business of eating & drinking. The Mulberry makes the perfect backdrop for your wedding breakfast. During your planning, you will meet with Head Chef Guiseppina Terracciano to design your menu; from Guiseppina’s favourite dishes to fully bespoke items. From a classic gala-style wedding breakfast to dishes inspired by your travels, you and your guests will be treated to gorgeous, generous cuisine at Langshott.
After the speeches & feasting assuredly comes the dancing! The Mulberry and Drawing Room can transform into spaces for dance floors and bands or DJs to play the night away. Meanwhile, in St Peter’s bar and the adjoining lounges guests will find a spot to rest their feet and recharge, ready for the next number.
Late night sustenance may come in the form of a hog roast perhaps, or a spread of cheese. Maybe even fish finger sandwiches and cones of mac n’ cheese? Our 22 bedrooms are all individually appointed, named after Tudor royalty, castles, local gardens and racecourses. Each room comes with our luxurious linens, robes, beautiful bathroom amenities, filtered water, coffee & biscuits and more.
You are your guests will enjoy a full ‘recovery’ breakfast the morning after the night before.

Langshott Manor Reviews
We got to know the staff, the venue wasn’t too big; and it was exclusive so there were no other guests sharing the space.
The whole day felt very co-produced – nothing was too much trouble. If we gave feedback this was quickly acted upon.
The setting is beautiful and we used this as a canvas in which to bespoke and make it feel very personalised.
The food was wonderful and we had so much positive feedback on this. We provided three options to guests – which although was more work, we had several comments saying how unusual and what a ‘treat’ this was. We designed a menu card which we sent out to all guests for them to select their options and return to us – we then collated these and liaised with Langshott Manor.
We lucked out weather wise as it was a beautiful summers day, so our photographer Danni Beach has captured some wonderful pictures some of which we have shared with Langshott Manor to use on their website with Danni’s permission.
We feel so lucky to have found Langshott Manor, we hope we were not to demanding (!!) but the outcome was a day filled with joy, some tears but ultimately so much love.
