From simple rustic charm to flamboyant and breath-taking; we provide a blank canvas that can be adapted to suit any budget and taste whether it's festival, vintage or just a little different. ?


You’ll have exclusive use of the property from 3pm on Friday, perhaps for a family
BBQ, until 3pm on Sunday; plenty of time to set up and no need to rush off. And you can relax in the knowledge that you’re not going to bump into any other brides.

We have a choice of 2 ceremony rooms for numbers from 30 – 180. When it comes to catering there are endless possibilities; from hog roasts and pizzas, street food to a formal 3 course silver service. Or do something completely different, we like that here.

We are a family run business offering a relaxed, hands off approach, giving you the flexibility to tailor every part of your day, your way.

Choose your ceremony time around how often you need to feed your guests. Anytime around 1pm and they wont have had time for lunch, so food could get expensive.

Make a weekend of it, invite your friends on Friday to help set up and then have a BBQ to start the wedding festivities

Carla and the team at Glyngynwydd were amazing. We felt so comfortable and welcomed and were able to have the day we have always dreamed of. The cottages on site meant we could spend the entire weekend with the people we care about the most and extend our celebrations further. Thank you so much for supplying the perfect location for our perfect day!

Our daughter Soph, married Lee in such a perfect location.
Carla helped make the day super special with her calm & chilled out nature. Nothing was too much trouble.
Staying on site meant we could meet & get to know the other guests, or simply have a quiet moment within the grounds.
Cottages are well equipped & we even got to enjoy some fresh eggs laid by the chickens that morning
The day went without a hitch & we ended it with a camp fire

Where to begin!
We booked this incredible venue about 4 years before the wedding, as soon as we saw it we knew it was the one! The location is incredible, the fact that there is onsite cottages too for family who have travelled to stay was a big plus for us, there are so many areas to get married at Glyngynwydd you aren’t restricted at all, from the barns to the lawn to the woods, it’s the perfect blank canvas. We also loved that there was no corkage fee so we could have fun serving alcohol in baths, wheelbarrows and of course the pallet bar! I cannot say enough about the venue or Carla the venue owner, she was there whenever I needed her, letting us pop in to measure up and answered any question I had over the lead up to the wedding. The day before she was on hand to move furniture and help out and on the morning of my wedding at 7am Carla was outside with me moving hay bales into place and helping to calm my nerves! She helped with any problem on the day and honestly felt more like a friend, we will be forever grateful to this lovely lady!!! I truly can’t say enough about Glyngynwydd or Carla, it’s just a magical place! Our guests were blown away by the whole set up and how gorgeous everything was! Thankyou so much Carla for everything.

The Perfect Venue
We fell in love with Glyngynwydd as a wedding venue the moment we set foot there to look at it and knew it was “the place” we wanted to get married! 2 years on it did not disappoint and was even better than we could have imagined! The ceremony area in the woods is absolutely beautiful, and so peaceful! We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect place to get married! The barns themselves are a beautiful rustic setting, and there are so many different areas for unique photos!
We also can’t thank Carla enough; having to postpone our wedding and then re-organise it during Covid-19 would have been a lot more stressful if she wasn’t there to help us - she was extremely accommodating, and excellent at helping us with all sorts of questions we had - she always left us feeling reassured at the end of a phone conversation! She was also amazing during the wedding, always on hand to help and ensure things run smoothly.
The cottages at the venue have everything you could need and want and make for a relaxing ‘getting ready’ time. We’re looking forward to going back to stay in the cottages again sometime!

Here at Glyngynwydd Wedding Barn and Cottages we are proud of our location, which is set in an unspoilt valley with 12 acres of land that includes a woodland and a pond. An utterly gorgeous backdrop for your wedding photos. We offer a relaxed approach to planning your wedding without pages and pages of things you're not allowed to do. It's your day and we strive to make it everything you could wish for. As a venue we are licensed for the following: Civil Ceremonies, Blessings, Civil Partnerships, we also welcome Humanist Ceremonies and Renewal of Vows. The package includes: Exclusive use of the grounds, 2 ceremony areas, wedding barn, communal stables from 3pm Friday to 3pm Sunday. 2 nights accommodation for 19 people in 5 beautiful self catering cottages. Tables and chairs for 120 people. Ample free car parking. No corkage charge. Assistance with food / bar / entertainment / decorating options.
