Essentially, Crayke Manor is a DIY venue. You get to create the wedding exactly how you dreamed it to be, using one of the most spectacular, historical and unique platforms to stage it on.

If you've decided to take to take a bit more control over exactly how you want your wedding to be, rather than picking from a package from a limited menu, then Crayke Manor might be what you're looking for. We don't ask you to choose anything. You just decide, in your own time and limited only by your imagination, how you want your wedding to play-out and be enjoyed by your family and friends. Once the Manor is booked, we don't get involved. We let you enjoy the personal process, because it is incredibly personal, of picking your caterers, how you want to dress the Dutch Barn, what kind of drinks or Bar service you want etc. What we provide is the infrastructure, if you like; the hardware - and you add the software. When booking the Manor for a wedding, you have exclusive access to the Manor (sleeps 16), the Gardens and Grounds and the Stabled Dutch Barn. We have all the necessary tables and chairs (lovely rustic trestles to complement the barn) to seat 180 x guests but the Barn could accommodate approx. 250 x guests if not all seated. We offer a 3 x day package from May through to September inclusive. There's also a 2 x day package for most of the remaining months but if you have more than 50 or so guests, we would always recommend the 3 x days as a minimum. You want to be able to enjoy the process of getting the venue ready, dressing the barn, enjoying what the Manor and Grounds have to offer, rather than feeling rushed and pressured. The 3 x day package costs £9,000 and the 2 x day package is £7,500. Extras include the two additional cottages that can sleep 14 more guests, a wedding service fee, should you wish to hold a wedding service at the Manor and some additional optional extras - details on request.

Crayke Manor is a Tudor Manor House, built in 1620 and considered to be one of the most beautiful homes in North Yorkshire. Sitting in its own meadows, you'll have an amazing sense of privacy and privilege when staying here. The estate includes a Dutch covered barn, perfect for weddings and parties. We've hosted many weddings and large social events in the relatively short time it has been available for hire. Past guests have enjoyed dressing the barn to suit their tastes. Our aim. To provide the most amazing canvas for couples to create their own bespoke wedding event.We dont charge any corkage nor insist on any preferred suppliers. However, we can happily recommend great local suppliers and wedding planners if needed. What makes Crayke Manor totally unique? Essentially, Crayke Manor is a DIY venue. We have a wedding license, which allows you to choose from holding your wedding service on the wonderful South-facing gardens or in any of the 5 x covered areas on the estate and in the Manor itself.
