We understand that every couples day is different. That is why we will take the time to understand how you wish to celebrate, with this better understanding we can then recommend the right celebration space for you.
Where to Start;
We always recommend that you start with your guest numbers both daytime and evening. From this you will begin to build that initial picture of what size celebration space you will need.
The next consideration is how do you want to use your space. Not everyone wants all their guests to sit down for a meal, so only some seating is required. Consider how you both wish to celebrate? Is it more of a relaxed festival vibe, something more traditional or somewhere in between.
We understand that your ideas and plans will develop throughout your wedding planning journey so when booking with Sami Tipi, we always remain flexible with you. The key items are the number of tipis you need or size Sailcloth, date and location. What is going in to your celebration space can change and change again as your wedding ideas develop over time.
We offer two face to face planning meetings with you at our HQ in Derbyshire. This is one to one time to work through your plans, guest numbers, supplier needs and create a floor plan that works for you.
We will also run through the logistics of where 'power points' are needed for your band, caterers etc. We take the hassle and stress away from you so you can get on with the finer details.

Make it a date night! If you are wanting relaxed street food, why not go to one of the many pop up food festival events to sample possible caterers for your wedding.
Always have a plan B. Simple things for an outdoor wedding ceremony is making sure you have space in your tipis for your ceremony if you need to relocate or simply having lots of brollies at hand.
Attend open days - At Sami Tipi we host a number throughout the year, working with local trusted suppliers. These are full of outdoor wedding inspiration and ideas.

The tipis themselves are stunning as is all the furniture and extra bits we hired from from Sami Tipi, they have thought of everything, which is exactly what you want when planning your wedding!
We hired our caterers, bar service, florist, celebrant and props hire all through Sami Tipis recommendations, who were all amazing too and it was great to know that we had hired people who had worked with Jodie and the team before, this took away the stress of hoping everything ran smoothly on the day.
