We have postponed our wedding from August this year to August next year. We were already quite far along with guest list etc. and having already received a few nos from family we had decided to invite extra friends. Now we have had to reschedule to next year we don't know what to do! We need to keep the guest list at a certain number in case we need to move the wedding inside where there is a maximum capacity. Mother in Law feels we should re invite those family members who said no as the date has changed. This would mean though that we would have to uninvite friends we had said could come. What is the correct etiquette in this situation?

There is no correct etiquette as its a totally new situation! Cliche but it's your wedding so do what you feel in your gut is right. Perhaps either the friends of family would be happy with an evening invite only? The guests who said no should 100% accept that the planning had to continue on the basis of them not attending.
