Hi! I am getting married next July and want to have my dog at the ceremony. I am struggling to find a company that would be able to help with this. Ideally I am looking for someone who could look after her the morning of the wedding, bring her to the ceremony and then look after her after the wedding and overnight into the following day. Can anyone recommend a company in the Somerset/South West area? I would usually ask family members or friends to look after her but they will all be at the wedding so I am a bit stuck. Id like to avoid kennels as she doesn't do well in a kennel environment. Thanks

Are you sure that a dog is a good idea for a wedding party? I would be a bit disappointed if something goes wrong because of the dog..and if someone does not take a proper care of him. For sure there is something as dog nanny. They should help you with your pupil :)

Hi Megan - LINK REMOVED - it is a great website with pet sitters. When booking through them, it includes insurance in case of any issues. You can read reviews and reach out to the pet sitter directly for a conversation. They probably won't have this specific type of offering listed on their site, but typically these individuals can create a custom package for you. I hope this helps! YOUR LINKS TO YOUR OWN COMPANY & OTHER SITE ARE REMOVED AS THEY BREAK FORUM RULES , IF YOU CONTINUE TO POST THEM YOU WILL BE REMOVED & BANNED FROM THE FORUM - MODERATOR

My friend had her dog and her horse at her wedding.
Are you getting ready at the venue or staying elsewhere? My friend was staying at a cottage just off the venue property so had the dog there and had someone bring the dog round after the ceremony for photos and she had someone at the stables do the same with her horse.
Is your home near the venue? If so, i'm sure someone could bring the dog for the ceremony and then take it home after and have a neighbour give it a feed? Alternatively if someone is only going to your evening, ask them to check on the dog before they come to the ceremony. If you're staying in a hotel, some hotels have a dog watching service as long as the dog is well behaved
