Hi there! My fiance and I are getting married in Ireland in Feb 2018. We have been offered a 'discount' of 65 euro pp per night incl. breakfast and spa access. It is a magical hotel so we thought this was really good for price. Our guests were told to phone the hotel to book in order to take advantage of the discount.
However, several of our guests have found our hotel cheaper online (third party websites) for our wedding dates. Our hotel have said they cannot match this.. has anyone else experienced this please?
We are wondering whether we have grounds to argue this or not? We are quite embarrassed by this to be honest, and feel a bit duped by our hotel.
Thanks in advance!

We had this for our venue and they just said to book through the third party website. At the end of the day you should do what is best and cheaper for you and your guests. I doubt there will be a contract in terms of accommodation.
