    Hi ladies

I wore my e-ring and wedding ring on honeymoon and all holidays we've been on since .....mix of city breaks, beach hols and active tours.

Each trip away we've been on I've worried my rings will get damaged, lost or stolen. I'm one of those who doesn't wear my rings in the shower, cleaning and sleeping etc.

I recently bought an imitation wedding ring (my real one is set with diamonds so the imitation also is set with d1@m0n1qu3). The reason I did this is when I take a boxing class in the gym I take my rings off and worry about them going missing ........so far I've felt much better removing that ring knowing my real ones are safe at home. I've now bought an imitation engagement ring to wear with it.

I'm now seriously thinking for holidays I'll wear these fakes instead of my real ones so I don't worry about losing them. I'll lock my real ones away or leave them with my parents or my sister whilst I'm away.

What's everyone's thoughts on this? What would you do?

i think it's a really good idea for those who wouldn't be too forgetful like me. I'd likely forget to trade them out and end up wearing the good one to the gym and the fake one for days on end not realising! aha x

Yes I often look at my engagement ring and think that it's very expensive so perhaps Buying a replica is wise move

My bestie also bought an imitation e ring to wear on her hen and is talking about wearing it for honeymoon rather than take her real one. She's thinking of buying a wedding band fake too.

I think this is a fab idea, keeps those special rings safe then and at least you don't feel quite so 'naked' without your rings.

Especially if in a swimming pool or on the beach/ in the sea. Or if doing an activity filled trip or even day trip in the UK where you are doing something like rock climbing.

Still waiting for my imitation e ring to be delivered. Hoping it comes today x

My imitation e-ring came today to go with the wedding band i already bought. Rather chuffed with it. What do you think?

The imitation ones don't sit so well together but will do the job for a beach holiday. I won't stress about anything happening to the imitation ones.

For £35 for both rings, sterling silver with rhodium plating they're definitely a good purchase.

My wedding band is a plain 18k gold, and to be honest it is pretty sturdy. My engagement ring is not very delicate, but I'm always worried about damaging it because I just love it. I wouldn't get fake ones for them though, I would just leave my engagement ring at home when going on holidays.

    You have me thinking now.

My engagement ring was over £ 2K, and my wedding ring almost £ 1 k.

Although they are insured, I would be gutted if anything happened.
May have to pop to Arg0s to see if I can find an alternative

Looking forward to becoming the 3rd and last Mrs McLauchlan

Take a look at that famous shopping channel at their d1@m0n1qu3 collection.

I just wanted to update on this.

I wore my imitation rings on holiday a couple of weeks ago and I had so many compliments! Was so funny so many people commented on how beautiful and sparkly my rings were. Totally worth it knowing i could wow people and also wear swimming in the pool and sea and also do other activities without worrying about losing them or them getting damaged.
